The University of Glasgow warmly welcomed the new student intake of EUROSUD International students, who came from 21 countries around the globe, to the City of Glasgow.
The first stage of a 2-year International Master in South European Studies, students will spend the first semester in Glasgow, before venturing to their next location, depending on their choice of pathway, selecting between Athens or Madrid for Semester 2, adding Rome and Marseille, with a Winter School in Lisbon in year 2.
Day 1 of Induction, the students were introduced to teaching and Administrative staff who gave them an overview of the courses and the administrative side of the programme, providing an opportunity for questions.
A social event was organised in the evening at the CCA – Centre for Contemporary Arts, Saramago Cafe Bar, in Sauchiehall Street, in Glasgow City, with a buffet and drinks. There was a great atmosphere as everyone got to know each other, some meeting for the first time. It was a great night!
Classes have now started, and so the EUROSUD journey begins!
